Interestingly it was the default WPA3 that was causing the problem, switched to WPA2 and all is fine.

I've just had a Sky Max Hub and my Square Terminals (used to take orders and payments) appear to connect with an excellent signal but in fact won't connect at all, almost as if they are incompatible with the router. Have tried them on a friend's Sky network (not Max Hub) and they work fine.

has anyone else experienced this issue?

Interesting question! We are both, Sky initially refused us a business account and then went ahead and took on our account.

Quite possibly never tested: as @GD1 indicates, it's never ideal to be using business hardware with a domestic broadband service for that reason.

Sky broadband with a white Max Hub uses 8:1 IPv4 address sharing through Map-T, so you could try getting Sky to revert that to 1:1
