topic Billing explained in Broadband

Hi. I cancelled my broadband and realised I've had a bill taken out for £39.61. I was under the impression payments are taken in advance when first signing up so I didn't think the early cancellation charge would apply. I am not very happy about this and would like an explanation please.

@Aim Billing continues to the next bill date, therefore iof your Broadband service ends miod bill period any overpayment would end up being refunded.

Do you see a credit on your account?

If you have an early termination fee it sounds like you switched before your minimum term ended?
