Hi, I've run speed tests on my phone and only getting max 70mbs whilst your guarantee is 400mbs. Please can you advise what's wrong. Thanks

A phone would be using WiFi. The 400Mbs 'guarantee' is over optical fibre and ethernet cable as far as the Hub but not beyond it.

Ok, but should it drop down to that low from one phone on at the time. I feel that it's abit false economy. It's gonna so low if we have 5 devices or more connected. Is there a way to have it not reduced that much?

WiFi is affected by range, intervening material such as walls, and competing signal (interference)

As you are presumably paying for 500Mbs FTTP to get a 400Mbs minimum you could have seven devices running at 70Mbs (490Mbs total bandwidth)

The more devices that connect at the same time the weaker the signal will get to each device,

The minimum speed is to the hub not to the devices,

But any phone or devices in the house that is connected as soon as the password as been entered on the device is you the Internet even if you are not actually using it at the time as it could be updating or receiving emails just because you are not using they are always connected unless you disconnect them from the Internet

All with not problems

And when the family come around i can have up to 7 mobile phones connected to my internet

Some connected by ethernet cable and some by wifi
