Ethernet slower than WiFi

Hi,

so I've recently just got an Ethernet cable because I always used to have lag spikes. I game on a ps5 so that's the reason why. Normally I would get 100mbps when connected to WiFi but now I'm getting 32 mbps with Ethernet. I use a category 8 Ethernet so I don't know why this is.

could anyone help 🙏
