Is the AP set to DHCP?

It looks like the AP is quite old and only using 'Fast' ethernet, you may need to change the port settings on your Sky hub to fast ethernet

Hello

I have a TPLink EAP110 outdoor WiFi access point that has been working for several years. It was connected via ethernet cable to my Vodaphone router. This moring I changed to a SKY router. Everything else is working fine, but when trying to connec to the TPLink Wifi signal it hangs at "obtaining IP address" and eventually times out. Since nothing else has changed, I assume a setting in the SKY router is causing this. Any suggestions?

Tim

Thanks for the reply. It turned out to be the dumbest of physical issues. When I had plugged my four ethernet cables into the router, the relevant cable had not quite clicked home.

When I sorted that, all came back to life.

Always check the obvious stuff first... 🙂

Tim
