I just scanned my network with nmap and my router has Port 31337 running the service ELITE. Some quick googling suggests that this may be a potential security concern. I have factory reset the router but this has not fixed the issue.

I reached out to the support team via IM but I'm not super confident the agent understood what I was talking about so I didn't get anywhere other than a 'don't worry about it'.

Does anyone else have a similar issue or have any further information about whether this is normal functionality for the router or whether I should be concerned?

Hi @DrQu

Port 31337 is used by Sky for remote management, data collection and maintenance of your router. Its safe to have open and Sky will have safeguards in place such as authentication or limited IP ranges allowed to access the port to ensure that the open port can't be used by any bad actors
