@Marcia+Smikle there is no action required by customers using Sky hubs its all down to Sky. The upright black Sky Broadband Hub (model SR203 or SR204) are compliant with the new regulations and planned services and will continue to be updated by Sky. Thesame applies to the latest white Sky Max hubs SR213.

The hubs which will no longer be uodated are the flat SkyQ hubs (modern er110 and err115) Sky are in the pricess of contacting customers using these and offering them a switch to the SR203. Given the fact there are several million of these units they are doing this in batches so ask customers wait to be contacted when a link is given to get the swap. There are a few customers using even older hubs/routers which are also included in the project.

Assuming you have one of the older, flat Hubs, request a replacement from Sky.

@Marcia+Smikle

Broadband will continue to work through Q Hubs: the withdrawal of service and updates is something if a red herring.

All ISPs need to swap-out router models of that vintage which don't contain Analogue Telephone Adapters before PSTN is switched off (currently scheduled for January 2027) and also because weak fixed Administrator passwords are no longer acceptable under UK law, but there's no great urgency.
