Unable to get Sky Broadband - New House not on Openreach Database

Hello

I am trying to get broadbank at a new premises, but address is not on openreach database.

I am right in thinking, if I contract any ISP it is up to them to request ordi to openreach.

As everything isp I have spoken to, says I have to contract Openreach - big issues here. They have terminated the telephone number and you have to fill out a web form which you get an email which you can not reply to

You need to speak to the developer to establish what provision they've made. Sometimes a deal is done with an AltNet to provide service, meaning any ISP using Openreach can't provide.

If the property is connected to Openreach then again the developer is responsible for registering the address.

An ordi request with openreach is to correct or update an existing record on their systems so cannot be raised for a new, inknown, property.

It is the developers responsibility to make provisions to supply services to a development and if they have chosen to use openreach will have been assign a new sites rep to visit and either sign off the work done by the developer or range with them to supply it.

if they do not have this in place then they either have no plans to connect services or they have made arrangements with a third party to create a locked out site that can only be provided by a specific provider - the developer will be able to supply these details or will be listed in the small print of your legal pack
