How can that be when it was working just fine two days ago and since September?
I literally sit next to the WiFi hub and doesn't work, it connects to the wifi, my app says the internet is ok. But Is just our phones that are not working since yesterday, is slow or don't let us use any app that needs internet, even the sky app I need to use my own data! Don't recommend me to buy anything because that's not the point!

@Mari13 if some devices are working properly but others are not it is likely your problem is WiFi signal levels in some areas of your home are too low. You can test if thst applies in your case is by trying to connect your phone in tgecareas where other devices work.

Poor WiFi coverage is probably the most common question we get in the forum. In many homes a single Sky hub cannot provide a usable wifi signal in every room due to the layout and type of construction of the property especially in older homes. Assuming the hub is in the best possible position which is out in the open on a surfsce then the only answer is additional wifi sources.

Your choice.is to either buy Sky's add-on WiFi Max bundle which can supply up to 3 extenders see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or buy your own wifi system and use that instead of the Sky hub's WiFi.

try going into your wi fi settings on your phone and turing MAC address type to phone MAC instead of Randomised MAC. This has driven me when connected to my sky router and anyone who visits my house has had the same issues for years to the point i paid for unilimted 5G so i didnt have to use wifi at home on my phone.

Not sure on iphone but android is settings > connections > Wi-fi, press the cog next to the wifi you are connected to > view more >MAC address type and change to phone MAC. difference for me is night and day.

I think that changing the DNS servers used on the device to Google for Primary and Cloudflare for alternate for both IPv4 and IPv6 may have the same affect and mean you can leave the randomised MAC address if needed.

For clarity I may have got the above all wrong 🙂
