You are buying a domestic connection from Sky and report the fault.Hopefully they can getvan enginer to check your line in the next 2 to 3 days. The fact you use the connection for work does not increase the priority unfortunately so I would consider your options in the meantime.

Down since last night. Your online checks say its all OK but it did last time there was an outrage. Openrech are down the road.

I work from home.

@Dan200 where there is an area fault it is worth checking Sky are aware of the issue by running the Service Checker in the My Sky app over a mobile connection which will tell you if they are. If it doesn't call Sky and report it as that starts the clock for compensation see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com

Area faults are not common but do happen Openreach will fix the issue as fast as they can but they or Sky cannot tell you how long that will take. The fact you use your domestic connection for work does not change that so plan for the worst. Roughly 85% of issues are fixed within two full working days after the report it all depends what the fault is.
