Flat share: Strange WiFi Extender / TP-Link devices accessing my personal Sky Wi-Fi

Long story short,

House Share (3-bed, Semi Detached)

Due to working from home, employer insisted on me having my own phone line / broadband.

Sorted Sky Broadband

Owner declined permission to drill holes in wall, so although I have own phone line & broadband. The Router sits in hall for all to see (frustrating)

Someone playing silly Bgrs and has linked me into some TP-Link, Family, Home group thing but when asked everyone pleads ignorance…

Real-Time traps

Changed Name & the Admin / BAU passwords

These reset within 24hrs, so someone clearly reset the router…

Unsure what the end game is, but the fun is over & now getting me extremely annoyed.

-

SKY APP

Always 6–8 active devices, when I have only 3 (Mobile, Laptop, FireStick)

These are all devices of those in the house.

So, they're either lying to my face when asked directly.

You can get lockable boxes to put the router in, but they're not cheap.

Only other thing I can think of is to glue something like a bottle top over the WPS button so it can't be reset. But that might result in a penalty when you return it.

There are routers like Fritzbox that don't have any local means to factory reset, but again not cheap & may not work with Sky's authentication.
