Contacted by sky that my hub needed replacing as it can't receive updates and is being phased out. Since connecting the new hub which is in the same place as the old one and connecting the same amount of devices, the WiFi is slow and often switching to mobile data is quicker than WiFi. How can this be resolved? I've tried resetting the hub and changing channels but it doesn't solve the issues.

@Shaun1987 the replacement hub will be a Sky hubs 4.2 which is upright type and normally has greater WiFi range than the presumably flat type you had before. If you have an older Sky booster that will need replacing with the correct type for the new hub but it is an unusual issue as most people find the new hub a significant improvement. If you have Sky Q boxes make sure you have renetworked them as explained here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/setting-up-sky-q-connect-to-sky-hub

Like any wifi source the hub needs careful placement so make sure it is out in the open on a surface rather than the floor.
