Changing ultrafast package mid contract

I've currently got Ultrafast 150Mb, contracted up to October this year.

We're looking to change our tv package from Sky Q to Sky Stream, and going through it online it's giving me the chance to sign up to Full Fibre 500Mb for the same monthly price as we currently pay.

Question is, if I go for it, would I have to pay up my contract up to the end date, or am I just recontracted on the new package with nothing extra to pay?

You are just recontracted to the new package and the previous contract ends.

You are just upgrading to a faster speed and agreeing to a new contract term with the same provider. It would be different if you were trying to move to another company for the faster speed.
