Broadband Speed Issue

Hi wondering if anyone can answer if this looks slower than it should be normal speeds are usually 8.6 Mbps past few days internet has been very slow tried the usual things like reset router / PC yet i check on sky's test and it's showing "Looks good".(Using ethernet Cable not WIFI)

Only on Sky Broadband Essential Plus Plan but never had these issues before any help appreciated (Shared this as it gets asked for in all other post's I saw with speed issue's)

Looks like you have full fibre fttp at the address so you could ask for 40Mbps to 1Gbps on a line 10× more stable than the one you have. To be honest sky probably wouldn't send an engineer out to fix something that has no guarantee

@Tim177 What makes you say that? The sky service checker will show you what with the broadband and > to expand see the history!

I sympathise. Paying for 500, getting this:

It was more stable, and faster before the "upgrade". All set up by the Sky engineer, with a new (Sky supplied) LAN cable. Nice engineer guy (who did the upgrade to 500mbps).

This has been going on for too long, and almost smacks of mis-selling.

If I bought anything at all which turned out to be unfit for the purpose stated or was incorrectly described or any circumstance that meant I was mis- sold, then I would have recourse. With this situation, who knows?
