It's truly maddening, isn't it? My Sky contract is up in a couple of months. It's been a thoroughly disheartening experience, so I can't think of any reason to extend. Desperate for full fibre to arrive here. 😞

Hi there. I've seen that multiple users have the same issue as me, but none of the suggested fixes have worked for me. I have an iPhone 14 with a Smarty sim card, which runs on the 3 network. I have the white Sky Max router. I live in a rural area with no mobile signal so I'm dependent on WiFi. All has been fine for almost two years but since updating to Ios 18.2 (I'm now on 18.3.1) I've been unable to make or receive calls, which is proving hugely frustrating as I try to work through some legal issues. My wife's Samsung Galaxy has no such problems. I've tried changing the hub security setting, forgetting and adding the WiFi network, toggling airplane mode, WiFi calling, resetting the hub, changinging the phone's network settings, etc. I took the phone to my local iStore where it was able to receive calls and was given a clean bill of health. I've berated Smarty, who gave me a £5 credit without every giving any indication that they had a clue. I'm getting loads of texts alerting me to voicemail messages but can't access them. My famously sweet nature is in danger of becoming murderous. For the sake of all that is sweet and innocent, help me out...

I feel your pain!! I also live in a rural are and I'm having exactly the same problems. I'm afraid I don't have any suggestions and have tried everything you have and no joy! I spoke to Sky yesterday and they wouldn't disable the MAP-T remotely (as previously suggested in an earlier thread in January) as they couldn't book an engineer as the broadband was working?! The only way around them booking an engineer would be if I paid an extra £4 for 24 months of some additional coverage but that would impact the deal that I have and my monthly bill would increase massively! It's so frustrating.... I really don't know what to do either. I am with iD mobile who use the 3 network.

Totally. I'm stuck until November with both Sky and iD mobile 😩 I just don't know where to go from here. I'm presuming you can't go back to an earlier operating system on the iphone? As a last resort I was thinking of heading into an Apple store to see if I could do that. Sky have been of no use and I have little confidence that even if an engineer was booked they'd be able to sort out the problem, judging from early threads it sounds like it's hit and miss as to whether the MAP-T reset works in the long run.

Me too, I'm now thinking of leaving SKY it's not worth the hassle! The ;bod; is going round in circles to get an answer for me, my signal is down to my I phone 14+ this has been going on for ages no luck at all!

I've just received two calls on my mobile this morning - the first in weeks! I wonder if Sky have finally pushed out a tweak to the white hubs?
I doubt that I'll extend my contract. I didn't think Sky could be worse than BT, who I'd been with for years, but the grass definitely wasn't greener.

A neighbour has just had full fibre from a small independent company installed and is loving it. Naturally, there are obstacles to getting it at my house, but I reckon the hassle and expense will be worth it long-term.
