Also, the mains supply to the power adapter (which I also made sure I replaced with the new router) is literally two feet of cabling from the consumer unit. (All the fuse box wiring was updated to code a couple of years ago.) I have also tried using a mains filter in line with the mains adapter with no effect.

My router has rebooted 4 times in the last hour. When I check on Sky app 'Everything seems to be working correctly' how can this be ?

Sounds like a broadband issue, rather than Sky Stream

I'll move your post to the Broadband forum. You'll see a post pinned to the top of that forum on how to find and post your router statistics, which would be a good starting point.

I have a similar issue. My Sky broadband worked without a hitch for many months, and then it started rebooting. It gradually became more frequent, and then got to a point when it was rebooting every few minutes. I rang Sky at that point, and after testing, a new router was sent out. Soon after installation, this too rebooted, but I assumed that this was simply it receiving a firmware update. It's much less frequent since then, but it seems to like to reboot at about 0600 most days. I work from home and start very earlt, so this can be quite disruptive. Do Sky have a planned update regime? How often is this done? Why aren't users informed? My broadband is in use heavily 24/7, so any disruption is at the minimum, inconvenient.

There are two main reasons why kit spontaenously reboots (ie all lghts go out and the unit takes 2 to 4 minutes to restart) the first is the unit is faulty however as your hub has been replaced the second which is an issue with the mains supply becomes more likely. 6am is often when systems like central heating switchs on which could be the cause.

Seems like they have a problem with cheap Chinese routers. I'd happily buy and install my own one, but I believe I'll lose VOIP if I do that. My wiring is up to code and recently upgraded and checked fully by a qualified electrician so I don't belive the fault is elsewhere. The current replacement router (my third) seems to be a lot better, but then my last one was fine for months before it decided to start to play up. The first time I called Sky about this problem, I got a flow chart jockey who tried to tell me that it was I had too many devices connected by WiFi! This despite almost all ip addresses are managed by my mesh system which is hard wired to the router. I have my Sky Q equipment and maybe a couple of other devices which get an ip address from the router.
