      <title>Poor WiFi</title>
      <link>https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/Poor-WiFi/m-p/4896714#M463114</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;We have always had poor WiFi but recently it's become so bad that streaming tv shows is unwatchable. The open reach box is situated in a cupboard downstairs (house is a three storey property). The sky MAX router is in the cupboard connected to the Ethernet cable. Despite a guarantee of 430mbs in every room I am lucky if it tops 170mbs. I purchased a PS portal and it's unplayable due to the lag and constant WiFi dropping out. Sky claim there's nothing wrong and tell me to move the router but that means a lot of remedial work. Guess I'm off to virgin media in march when the contract is up as that has VM points all through the house. Has anyone had a similar issue and if so what was the workaround? Thanks in advance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
