@Eveesuk you can have two broadband services to the same property but it normally requires a second line. Most properties still using a copper phone line usually have a second unused cable pair that Openreach can normally use. If you are on full fibre it is normally possible to have a second service although the ONT needs replacing. So technically it can probably be done. At one point I had two services one for domestic use and a second for work.

For different reasons Sky wont allow two accounts at one street address so any second service would have to use a different ISP. Also if ordering make it clear that a new line is required and dont be too surprised if there is an installation cost.

Is the extension a full separate and registered property or just a unofficial devision?

And when ordering you must be very clear that this is a second line with an additional broadband service and not a 'switch', because by default the original provision would cease.

The deal with Quickline is free until our Sky contract ends, which is September 2026.

Thus have retained the Sky Hub only so we still use Sky Talk, with it's WiFi turned off, so we can use the WiFi 6 of the Quickline one, but will install my own tri-band router when I get around to it.
