I contacted the automated helpline as I was ready to cancel the broadband, they put me through to an actual person who then sent out a new hub and everything is working now.       <description>&lt;P&gt;My pod has arrived but it won't connect to the sky max router.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have plugged it in near the router to ensure there is a good signal but no success.&amp;nbsp; I have scanned the QR code in the box and tried the manual connection without success many times.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Does anyone have any ideas for me to try?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

The pods show no lights when connected to the hub and it takes time for the wifi to optimise so dont expect devices to suddenly connect and it isnt something you can directly control.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

If it isnt give sky a call as it needs to be added.? Intially try linking it tomthe hub by plugging it in close to it once paired move it to the desired location but remember these units need a decent connection back to the hub so should be half way between the nearest hub or pidcand wherevyou need tge boost.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;thanks, it is not showing in the app, i pluged it in about 4 feet away from the hub bt no joy, got an engineer comming out on Saturday anyway so hopefully he can fix it, just returned to sky last month and not been impressed so far with the new kit.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;so the only way to fix it was for the engineer to add it to my account, this does not happen even when they order it for you, still got a dark spot in the hous though with 3 pods conected so no idea what the next step is, the engineer recommended i spend £200 on a third party rounter instead of using sky equipment, bit of a joke really.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;so got three pods now but still one dead zone in the room directly above the router, the sky equipment is the issue and the engineer says the same thing, the old equipment had better range but the new stuff he says is trash (all 3 engineers i have had agree on this). the hub struggles to connect to a pod 8 feet away in the hallway beside the living room.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;He has said they can do nothing and that the call centree has to deal with it, but of course i cannot get a call back from the call centre, i have been with Sky again now for 2 months and total disaster.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I followed all the help stages and it told me to go to the app settings but the products show greyed out and not activated.&amp;nbsp; The broadband hub is connected, but is going from working to not working constantly. Surely it should be stable after 6 days!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know what to do.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

I need to re contact sky but they said before that if the router doesn't work they could cancel my WiFi boost payment and I live with the poor coverage or cancel the contract altogether. This is simply pathetic. Please sky, I know you read these forums please come forward and make a statement on why your pods don't appear to be fit for purpose!!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;just to know that no one has been in touch, i have been told by the call centre that they will let me buy a third party wi-fi booster and will re-inburse me for it, i was provided with some example from TP-Link by the call centre and went for one at £26, it has fixed all my deadspots as this one wi-fi extender covers the whole house, i had to provide a recipt and was told they would then credit me. i have provided the recipt via the photo upload system that sky uses, they confirmed they got it but have not been credited yet, this has been a week so far.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
