Sky blocking my nowtv in ROI

Recently changed to sky broadband from Vodafone. We live in the ROI.

We have a nowtv stick and have watched it without issue sky movies and sky sports having paid a year subs with nowtv.

Logging into nowtv and playing sports or movies there is an error code ovp 00012, it tells me this an issue with my region. I am not technically advanced with vpn, but have a feeling there is something going on with the location. Has anyone had same issues how can I resolve this. Can I log into the router, I have tried but I do not want to mess with the router.
