I can't seem to add a picture! The blu box just says echo dot and it's a round balll type! It's a 2nd device as my original one I have connected is much flatter on the top! Apparently my download speed is very slow!!!!

Can anyone help me? I can't add a second echo dot as its saying my WiFi connection dropped out. My friend believes the speed might be too slow and that my router might need splitting as it's a dual band router. I called sky and he talked me through splitting it and joined it back but the echo won't add. Maybe we need to keep it split and add the device before adding back together? I will try and call them again but thought I would ask for any advice here. Thanks

That generation should connect fine without splitting the WiFi bands.

Are you trying to set it up when its close to the hub? That would ensure its picking up the WiFI properly.
