Old WiFi Network still visible after new router

Hi, I switched over to the new Sky Max Hub with a booster before Christmas and are having performance issues. One of the things I've noticed is that the old WiFi network is still visible. I've used Airport Utilities to see signal strength and I think it's coming from both my Sky Q box and my old Sky Q booster.

How can I stop the old WiFi being published still? Thinking that may be causing some issues with the new WiFi network.

Hi there, I have a similar issue, but we have actually moved our broadband to vodafone, but still seeing our old sky wifi network, can you help?

@jimboi76 the Sky SSID you are seeing is being produced by the main Sky Q box and is used to connect anf Sky Q Mini boxes as these cannot connect directly to any router other than the black Sky hub.

The sky Q black box is actually acting as a router?

Even though we have a new broadband connection with another provider?

@jimboi76 strictly its not a router it is acting as a WiFi access point broadcasting a closed 5GHz signal only other Sky Q boxes can use. Sky Q uses a rather odd wifi networking system which was designed to use matched routers. Sky did a cludge to allow the system to work with third party wifi routers.
