Connect Laptop to Router

My laptop is connected to the WiFi but it keeps on cutting out. Have checked on my Sky Go app and apparently my signal is absolutely fine, but it's saying that my laptop is connected to a WiFi Extender, not the router. I have disconnected the WiFi and tried to reconnect but I'm still having the same issue.

If its saying your laptop is connected to extender when it doesnt need to be then that could be the issue. Do you have any Sky boosters or 3rd party extenders?

We have another sky box upstairs that may be the cause, however I have never linked my laptop to that device so am unsure as to why it would be running through that!

Sky Q boxes mesh with your main Sky router so any device you connect to your main hub will be able to roam and use any of your Q boxes as a booster
