My telephone box is in a bedroom at the side of the house and that is where my SR203 is located. This bedroom is more of an office and only has two power points and I use power extensions cables for the various items of office equipment. My understanding is that these will not be suitable for powering the ONT which needs a power source of its own? Not sure whether that is correct? I have time to get another power point put in before the Sky ONT appointment but dont want to do so if it can be avoided.
