WiFi Max device list, missing item

Does anyone with WiFi Max have a Main Q box attached, and showing in their list of devices?

Every other device in my house shows up but the Main Q box.

Don't talk to me about mini's. 🤣

Currently WiFi @mormegil, may I also ask which model yours is, and if the MAC matches those given in the status of the box?

It's the white max hub

q box has WiFi hotspots turned off as in the same room as the hub so they don't block each other

mac address are different in app compared to settings on the box

@mormegil sorry I meant which model Q Main box.

Yeah I am WiFi to the box

only the Ont is connected with Ethernet everything else is WiFi

Yeah I have gigafast

first thing I did in the app was to change the ssid and password to that of my old 4.2 hub so that everything connected automatically

Smart move, I opted for a new SSID as a form of fresh start.

I've had a lot of trouble, hence a lot of questions.

I even restored the Router this morning.

Do you use a max pod?

I have never bothered with them as I get 200-600 mbps to my gaming pc upstairs

main thing that blocks my signal is my girlfriend insisting it has to sit under an oak table rather than more centrally in the room

that at the cats constantly knocking it over

I had heard in advance of the problems with ring doorbells and the connections of the max hub so avoided that with the same ssid

I have so many devices coming and going on my list on the MySky app, its crazy. You'd think it was an open network in Maccy D's!

I'd also like to know why an item that is no more than 30cm away from the hub, has connected to a max pod some 20mtrs away!

The hubs are quite unsteady when stood arent they!

That they are I am tempted to blue tac or command strip it to the floor but my cats would see that as a challenge lol
