Exactly the same. For most of the day right? Just on for a couple of hours max at a time?

Support claims it might be the fact I still have an old q hub from 7 years ago and they no longer add firmware updates. That I have to request a new router that'd take 1-2 weeks to ship.

It's made me sign up for new internet since the downtime is way longer than simply getting new internet at a better price, and one that might send me an updated router when their old ones go redundant, instead of making me contact support to figure it out.

I hope this isn't the same issue you have but if you're on the old qhub probably.

@dfgsfsf sorry but while it is true the older er110 and er115 Sky Q hubs are planned to be withdrawn that is not connected with them being unreliable it is down to the fact they do not comply with new regulations on passwords. Sky are planning to swap these units for newer hubs sometime in the next few months but given the numbers invoved this is being done in batches.

Line drops are quite common at the moment and are often caused by faults on copper lines which happen after bad weather. Having a new hub cannot sort a dodgy line pretty obviously.

I agree with you and told the customer support the same thing, but that was their solution to my internet problem.
