I am using Ethernet via TP link to other parts of the house, suddenly stopped working, showing self-assigned ip address and will not now connect using Ethernet

I am also experiencing this issue, first saw it yesterday. Reinstalling/restarting ethernet drivers on my desktop did nothing, PC is getting a 'DHCP server not found' message.

If you are using powerline adapters in the ethernet connection they are the most likely cause of a lost connection rsther than the hub or your PC try unplugging those and rdbooting them.

The sky hub shows my desktop under 'connected devices' and the IP address matches on the hub and in ipconfig.

The exact same setup was working no problem last Thursday, so I'm not sure if there's been some kind of firmware update on the router in that time that has impacted the ability to connect to the DHCP server via powerline.

Personally I would not rule out the speed reduction is down the powerline units in y experience you can get speed reductions but otherwise it is quite strange. Is it possible to test the hub and PC without the powerline kit to rule thst out?

The previous one was 4 years old so potentially has expired. I'll try this when it arrives tomorrow and hopefully it'll fix the issue.
