If your hub is losing connection see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/hub-lights-explained-start

WiFi range deoends on the layout of your home and how it is built and in many homes axsingle WiFi router cannot orovide usable WiFi in every room.in these cases you need someform of WiFiextenders which Sky will supply if you buy their WiFi Max add-on see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-wifi-max or you can buy a third party WiFi system as I have done.
