Sky Max Hub Network Not showing?

We have recently updated to Sky Max hub from the older black Hub which worked fine.

Now everything connects okay except my Gaming PC which will not even find the Network - I can use a LAN as the Hub is Across the Hallway and would mean a hell of a job running a cable round - The Hubis however only about 10 feet from my PC.

The old Hub worked fine with no issues?

As the Max Hub is Nannied by Sky for some reason I am unable to go to 192.168.0.1 and edit the settings I want to apart from thw WAP settings (I have tried setting back to WAP2 still no joy.)

I have updated drivers and edited my Wireless Settings in device manager and have tried to manually connect to the network via network centre - it allows me to add it but then still doesn't connect - I can Teather to my iPhone 16 no issues.

Now my PCI card is an ASUS PCN-N10 which is a few years old now, I am assuming I am going to have to fork out for a new Wireless card that will pick up WiFi 6 Networks. I wondered if anyone had a recommendation as don't want to be spending £40-£50 and then finding i'm having the same issues.

P.S - Sky - please unlock the admin page in the Router so we can edit the settings we would like! - I have worked in IM&T now for over 30 years and we would never do this to our clients!

A similar post yesterday seemed to point to the ASUS adapter, albeit a different model, not liking ax. Google suggested switching from ax down to b/g/n, but wasn't clear if that was in the adapter's advanced properties or on the router. Unfortunately the poster hasn't come back to report if they've tried either.

If you disconnect the Hub from the Internet & factory reset it, you can then access settings until such time as you put it back online.So you can disable ax that way.

Released in 2011 and specified to 802.11n ('WiFi 4' from 2009) so more than a few years, and not going to support either WPA3 or WPA3-T

Setting the Hub to WPA2-PSK is best done in the My Sky app.
