Booster not syncing

Hi have purchased (used)a sky booster but cannot get it to sync with router it is sitting next to the router and I have reset both boxes but still no luck any ideas ?

Which booster & which router?

From a quick play with an SE210/SR203 combo, they would only pair if the SR203 was at default settings. Don't know if it wanted to see a default SKYXXXXX SSID or whether it didn't like split SSIDs, as I'd lost the will to pursue it by then. I suspect the latter.

Hi the booster is sky sb601 not sure of the router have taken a pic of both

Your pic has been blocked for containing sensitive info, maybe the MAC address of one or both.

Seems the question has been answered many times in the past but just like BT, Sky appear to have an idiotic policy of archiving ueful posts! So you'll need the input of someone else I'm afraid.

I have very little knowledge of Sky's hardware, having only been signed up for a month. You really need one of the time-served Superusers to comment I'm afraid.
