So for about 2/3 weeks now I've been lagging on an online game I play called Final Fantasy XIV and it seems to happen around peak time when the servers are busier. I've never had any issues with latency or packet loss when playing this game before and I've been with sky broadband for nearly a year now. I tested my speed and it shows that my internet is working fine so I've no idea what's been suddenly causing this issue. I use an ethernet cable as well. It's not my pc that's the issue because the same thing is also happening to my sister and her pc is only new and is a slightly better build than mine. Tried a VPN and it didn't really help but I still need to test out other locations. The only thing that makes the game playable is if I use my mobile data as a hotspot, so I have no idea if it's sky suddenly having issues connecting to the game's server out of nowhere, but it's very frustrating as I feel like I've tried everything I possibly can to try and fix this. I contacted sky but they couldn't really do much about it as it shows my connection is fine outside of playing this game. I ran a traceroute and pinged the servers and these were the results. If anyone has any solutions or had something similar happen, please let me know!

eu light ping .jpgtrace route results
