      <description>&lt;P&gt;What would be nice is if the SKY test my connection didn't lie.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;It says my connection is fine but as I cannot get to the outside world then it obviously isn't.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;There is a BT issue with the DSL connection and sometimes simply turning the DSL routre (Firbe) box off and on will make a better connection but today there appears to be a DNS service issue as well.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Yet sky's service check still says everything is fine.&amp;nbsp; Only give away is it reports no WiFi connect devices, but it should say a lot (Automated House).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;BT users are being told there is a fault that will be fixed in 2 days, except that was last week when this all started.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;All I want is SKy to say there is an issue and provide a realistic fix time.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm on full fibre, installed about 5 weeks ago when it first became available to my house. The first 2 weeks on full fibre were fine, then I had no internet for most of the next week due to the fibre slice failing, this was fixed on the 7th October.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Since the 9th October I've had at least one outage on every weekday with the outage varying between 1 minute and 1 hour. The ONT PON light remains green through the outage so the phiscal capability to send and receive light down the cable remains. I've never had an outage occur at the weekend.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;BT have just told sky there is a fault in chesterfield. That doesn't help get it back but at least they acknowledge the problem.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Sky are going to lose a lot of people it they cannot get BT to provide a decent service.&amp;nbsp; EE (part of BT) cellular network isn't having the same issues as fibre locally and it canbd cheaper.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is annoying is the stupid service checker thinks everything is fine, even when I unplug the hub from the fibre box.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The line issues start by not getting a DSL connection and then the servers cannot provide an IP address to the hub so no internet.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;That shouldn't be necessary.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Also risks dropping your internet connection which may take&amp;nbsp; time to reconnect due to the BT issues.&amp;nbsp; All my WiFi devices (20+) reconnect automatically.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Might be quicker to logon to the hub and turn off and on the WiFi rather than a full reboot.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, this is very interesting. I have been with Sky for years and was persuaded to go full fibre a few months ago. Since then I have experienced a number issues with the system going down often around 3-4pm.&amp;nbsp; Numerous calls to tech support resulted in a number of ludicrous possibilities ending with the promise that I would be "specially" monitored for 3 days and contacted with a solution. Needless to say nothing happened so I rang them again (the system went down when I was actually speaking to them). They&amp;nbsp; denied having any experience of this problem with other Customers but eventually admitted that they had no idea what the problem is and agreed that I could cancel my contract 4 months in.&amp;nbsp; I have now cancelled my contract but discovered that the issue is the same for a number of users here in Chesterfield using EE, Sky and Plusnet. As ISPs appear to be hiding this from their users I think the recourse is an email to Alternative Dispute Resolution Services (Ofcom don't deal with this) to see what they make of it.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
