Just ordered WiFi about a hour ago

I'm due to move into my new property either this Thursday or Friday and I was wondering because my activation date is the 23rd of December how long will it take for my router to arrive because if I'm not going to be in on the day it arrives what will happen how will I get my router

Router despatch is timed for arrival a couple of days before the activation date.

I'd caution that it's a fairly risky time of year to have such things scheduled.

Mine was sent by RM Tracked 48 with no signature required. I received an email from RM once it was shipped, with an expected delivery date & time slot. There was a link for delivery options if I wasn't going to be in. It was delivered two days before scheduled activation.

But that isn't a guaranteed service & I've had an item take nearly a fortnight this time last year. Hopefully Sky will give a little more leeway in your case given how close it is to Christmas, when RM will be stretched to capacity.
