If the activation hasn't occurred by the time the phone lines reopen give Skyba call for an update (if Sky have one).

From a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile dial 150 to call Sky (free) or alternatively use this link:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and a dedicated 03** UK number is displayed.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a dedicated 0818 ROI number.
(The forum doesn’t allow us to type the numbers in full).

Similar to calling other large companies the start will be automated which may also try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and don’t hang up. If necessary say nothing when the automated system asks you what your call is about as it should then route your call into a queue for the next available agent.

Called them at 8am and apparently they haven't had an update from openreach and will chase the reason for the delay but this will take 3 days! I am going to try plugging my BT box back in to see if that still works until this is resolved as not having wifi for 4 days with working from home is going to be difficult

Most likely openreach are delayed due to the storm. I've been waiting for my activation since the 26th November and I have to wait until the 17th December just for an update.

it seems openreach doesn't like speaking to Sky and Sky doesn't like chasing openreach.

you will get £6.10 compensation a day until you are activated, from your original activation date.
