I'd imagine a failed activation due to an upstream flaw would automatically be referred back to Openreach: unfortunately it could mean they have to replace the fibre between the local CBT and the CSP on the outside of your property. Openreach is attempting around 80,000 new FTTP installations every week to meet the national rollout target date, and inevitably some are going to run into problems.

Ordered sky Fibre, Openreach installed the outside cables and attached box to house, sky engineer came to install internals but when connecting/splicing to the fibre cable did not have enough "light" so could not complete the installation, called sky and have got nowhere as Openreach and sky engineers all work from different job sheets and don't seem to be able to communicate with each other.

any suggestions of how to get this fixed appreciated.
