IP address when skipping sky modem but using ont only

i have sky fibre at home. (in ireland)

when i connect ont to sky modem - i get ip address within 51.186.x.x

when i connect ont to my unifi router directly without sky modem, i get ip address within 51.182.x.x range

the problem is 51.182 shows i am in UK and most of my region based services dont work.

also none of my smart dns feature work too.

i tried resetting ont to refresh ip but no luck.

any suggestions?
