Hi,

In the early hours of this morning my Ubiquiti Dream Router stopped connecting to the internet. I have restarted it, restarted the BT Openreach ONT and still having issues. I know it's all still ok because I have plugged my Sky router back in and the line is working.

Does anybody know the latest settings for the Ubiquiti, do you still need the DHCP option 61 set?

Most lines should support native IPv6 pd authentication so no requirement for DHCP Option 61. However something may have changed on your line which now requires it. Is it configured?

So I have ended up resetting the Ubiquiti Router now.

It seems to be working with these settings, however, I do not get an IPv6 address just IPv4.

As i suspected then, IPv6 has stopped working so your authentication via PD broke.

It could be a temp Sky issue so I would keep an eye on it.

You could also unplug all routers for 1hr to remove your IP lease from the Sky servers.

Try changing dhcpv6 to slaac. This should give you a backup authentication method
