We recently upgraded to Sky Broadband Ultrafast 1 (150 MB/s). Although the signal speed and strength initially seemed to improve over the last few weeks, it has become almost impossible to watch any programme without the picture buffering and dropping out completely! The signal speed on our TV registered at only 2.27 MB/s, but according to the Sky service checker, the broadband, WIFI, and hub are working correctly.

This issue also affects computer and mobile phone use; can anyone shed any light on the cause of the problem?

NOTE

The problem arose before the start of the snow and bad weather!

I'm having exactly the same issue. Switched from EE to Sky recently and signal strengh is trrrible. Sky boxes disconnect and are very laggy. Buffering videos on iPhone. I didn't have this issue with the EE router. Nothing has changed other than the hub. Interested in response,
