I've been trying to set up port forwarding (e.g port 80 and/or 443) to a device on my network, but the app just gives a "computer says No" type response:

Something went wrong

Your request couldn't be processed. Please close this message and try again

Needless to say, trying again gets the same result.

I have been able to set up forwarding of port 8080 (and indeed, temporarily, 80) to a different device, and I don't know why it won't play ball.

There are several other apparent bugs in the software which may or not be related:

MySky app -> My Devices shows incorrect IP addresses. E.g. the printer as 192.168.0.166 whereas the myrouter web interface correctly shows 192.168.1.44 (I changed the DHCP address range to 192.168.1.* on the first day

In the app, the Port Forwarding "Select a device" includes devices not shown in the web interface, e.g. the iPad of the Sky engineer who was here over a week ago.

As noted by another user, the list does not disambiguate identical names. And the names often do not match those in the web interface (perhaps using different combination of details from DHCP or zeroconf/mDNS etc.)

The web interface shows the name of a Raspberry Pi as "LibreELEC", even though I has since changed to a standard Raspios image and the router DNS server correctly resolves the new name "pi3"and does not know "LibreELEC"

In the web interface, I set all connected devices to "Reserved IP" with my chosen addresses. The next day, those devices which had not been permanently on (e.g. the Sky Puck) had reverted to plain "DHCP".

Software Image Name: SR213_7.6p1s2_PROD_sey

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? Are there any known solutions or workarounds?

@ColinHogben

The workaround would be to not use the Sky hub. This latest iteration of Sky hub with the app management is horrible for anyone other than a basic user. If you are wanting to do any customisation, its not the hub for you.

All the points you have raised are issues that have been raised before and are known to Sky. When/if these will be fixed is an unknown.
