Internet dropping intermittently

Just wondering why all of a sudden my Internet drops and then reconnects at random times during the day?

The Internet light on my hub goes orange then returns to green. Is this a sky or open reach issue?

I ah e had this issue all day and it's still happening. I have turned off the router but that hasn't worked

According to sky there are no issues, which I doubt

Yes! Speed is meant to be 150 but it's dropped to 23. The app says everything is fine but other speed testing apps show a huge drop

Likewise for me, and I live in West Sussex.

Has dropped numerous times today, sometimes just a few minutes apart.

Personally it's not a speed issue it just that the whole Internet drops out then comes back in 30 seconds later.

West Yorkshire here, hitting us too, has been all afternoon.

Looking at the router logs it appears as if the DHCP lease, the temporary IP address assigned to your connection by Sky, is expiring or being expired.

... syslog: DHCP lease expired from server. Connection DOWN.

This is assigned when a connection is established and normally when provided by your ISP, does not expire for weeks, or even months.

I imagine they are either trying out some new settings which is not playing well, ir the DHCP servers are bouncing and they have not noticed it yet. Definitely an issue on their side.

Same have been having intermittent issues all day. Just outside Cambridge. Internet works for about 10 minutes then goes off for 5.... extremely frustrating 😭 have reset router, run all tests - says it is fine - but clearly it is not. Hope it works properly soon for work.

For the last few days, I have had the same issue, and now I don't have any internet!
