The notes below will tell us what path the fibre will take to the house

In terms of green cabinets and cables at 30Mbps you would be over 2Km from the roadside cabinet and probably wouldn't be aware of it . However full fibre bypasses the cabinet and goes straight to the exchange.

I am getting ultra fast 300 Broadband fitted on the 21st this month the area is in the old copper cables and the maximum we get is 30mb/s, should I be worried about it not getting fitted because I cannot see any green boxes or cables running from my house?

All very confusing but mentions FDSL and G.fast FTTP unavailable but WBC SOGEA availability but in the box below mentions Downstream line Rate up to 1000mbps and up stream 220mbps and in availability mentions FTTP installation stage 1. To dumb it down will I have any issues?

Is there no mention of "wbc fttp". If not that would be strange.

The fibre is underground thru an existing duct

Back to the table above does it say wbc fttp or fttp on demand . Is this a rural area ?

It reads wbc fttp unavailable in the top of the table and yes it is a rural area, the internet has been poor here for a long time.

saw the new fibre was available and contacted sky who are sending a open reach engineer out, hopefully something happens with it.

fingers crossed!

As a rural community it is possible that some folks have banded together and gone down the fttp on demand route and in doing so your house is now part of that build . To sum up fttp is defo available

Yep, very simple in comparison to other builds i have come across. The only possible caveat would be the condition of the duct mentioned in the notes. I.e is it blocked, congested or collapsed etc . Thats nothing you need to concern yourself with but may add a few weeks to the installation . My guess going by the install stage 1 is that everything is ready to go
