No tech change. The Sky rep advised that you cannot place an order while current provider is still active. I was hoping that when my current service ceases, I would have Sky ready to install to have continuity. I will have to look at other options now.

Hi. I'm trying to order sky broadband to consolidate all bills. Problem is Sky won't take order until current provider service is expired. ( 4 weeks) If I wait until then to order from sky then I'll be without broadband until next available appointment which is currently approx 5 days which means I'll be without broadband until then? Surely I can make appointment for the day after the current service is disabled?

That doesn't sound usual. Which is the current ISP, and does the Sky order involve a technology change (usually FTTC to FTTP)?
