Terrible customer services

Mid Sept. I signed up for Sky WIFI MAX. New 'white router was sent, and I returned the 4.2 black router. New router would not connect to nothing in the house. My Sky Mini Q box could not connect with my Sky Q box. Numerous phone calls to Sky were usless. Finally they sent an engineer to check if I was connecting everything correctly. The engineer told me that this router would not work in the village due to the age of the copper wires. He told me that someone would phone me later that same day to resolve this issue. EVERY TIME I switch on the TV in the kitchen I have to reconnect the Mini Q box, to the main. Many more phone calls to your so called customer service did not solve this issue. 3 more customer service personal promised someone would phone me back between a certain time. NEVER OCCURED!

I attempted to switch providers, but found out that I would have to pay over £800.00 to get out of contracts.
January 2026 they end. And after 24 years with SKY, I will be leaving.

people, beware of this scam with SKY MAX WIFI!

The engineer references 'copper wires' as poster 'reconnect the Mini Q box, to the main' however is not stated if is using powerline adaptors,

as similar happens to me currently, occasionaly; in an old property IF there has been no electrical activity in sockets:

Is to do with alternating current, supply thereof; and the way the property is wired in my instances.

'New router would not connect to nothing in the house' really points to the problems actually being derived from "double negatives'...
