Cannot reply to OpenReach Text

I have received a text from Open Reach asking if I have access to my property so they can activate my new service however, I cannot reply to the text. What do I do? Thanks.

I have seen on various forums people that this issue but I cannot seem to find the fix.

Your image was rejected as it contains the mobile number used to send the message. Feel free to resubmit with that blocked out.

Hi mate, what you can't see from this screenshot is that I've tried capitals multiple times. Nothing is sending to this number. From searching online it seems to be a recurring issue

It won't let me reply to the text from open reach, to confirm or deny access to the property I am moving to. The message fails to send every time I try. Is there a way around this? Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks so much!

Normally for this situation all you need to do to respond is to tap the YES or NO tab in the message

Iam having exactly same issue. Appointment booked for 15th January.. can I just ignore? Try to contact openreach and numbers are dead. I don't need to deal with sort of issues.

I ended up just ignoring it as the same issue happened to my son and he told me all went ahead as planned. I did get another text basically saying even though I hadn't replied they were going to carry on with the installation. That was nearly a month ago and I'm all sorted with no issues

Yep, same issue here too, can't contact open reach either, poor company. You'd think communication would be something they were good at. [Removed]

@Marty85 You can only reply with as per the text, no back and forth with OR, response is to the message and if you cannot send then down to the mobile provider!
