Internet interruption during Sky installation

Hi, Tomorrow, an engineer is coming to install the Sky set. Since I use the internet for work, I would like to know if there will be interruptions to the internet connection during the installation. For example, can I still use my current internet provider during the installation? Does Sky Broadband go live right away, or will it take some time?

There will be a period of connection loss when the engineer switches things over. This connection loss could extend up until midnight if Sky's activation systems are being slow.

If Sky is replacing your current provider its more than likely your current provider will disconnect at the time of install.
