&lt;P&gt;Placing an order with Sky (or any other Openreach ISP) causes the required resources to be scheduled: if the physical connection already exists at the address then no installer attendance is required.&amp;nbsp; For properties destined to get a new optical cable, timetabling of that is part of the process: it's not something the customer can hurry.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Only where the record for the address is incorrect does the customer need to proactively make alternative arrangements.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
