      <description>&lt;P&gt;That might be the case with this other broadband provider but isn't the case with Sky as they will not send you a new one if it isn't needed for any reason.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for replying, it's just I had a broadband provider come around the door and they asked me how long I had my router and I told them I had it years, they then said all broadband providers replaced routers every 2 years , if thats the case with Sky then so be it, perhaps they were saying that to try and influence me to change provider.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;I'd observe the BT Smart Hub 2, still their mainstream model, was released in November 2018.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
