However it is better if the resident is the account holder as Sky will only speak to them to accept fault reports etc.

I have a broadband package at my home but I also have a second home that a family member has moved into. I am assuming that a second broadband package will need to be setup for the other house but I wanted to make sure there was not anything I am missing. Like Is it cheaper for me to set this up because I already have an account or is it cheaper for my family member to do it. I assume there are no such things as family or multi houshold plans that combines packages to make them cheaper. Im not trying to circumnavigate things to 'play' the system, I am talking about genuine options that may not be obviously available. Not all companies like to advertise ways of saving. Thanks for any info.

And if you do decide to order from Sky yourself you'll need to be very careful to make it clear this isn't a request for a Home Move.
