computers not visible on local network

I have two Windows 10 computers connected to my sky router via WiFi. Both are working fine but I would like them to be able to see each other on the local network. How do I achieve this? I believe I have a WiFi Max router (not totally sure though).

I'm reasonably computer literate but networking is not really my thing.

@jahhaj To set up network sharing in Windows 10, you can:

Select Start
Select Settings
Select Network & internet
Select Sharing options on the right side
Under Private, select Turn on Network discovery and Turn on file and printer sharing

You can also configure network sharing options by:

Clicking Start > Control Panel
Opening Network and Sharing Center
Clicking Change advanced sharing settings
Expanding All Networks
Selecting the option to turn on sharing so anyone with network access can read and write files in public folders
Selecting the option to use 128-bit encryption to help protect file sharing connections
Selecting the option to turn off password protected sharing
Clicking Save changes

Turning on sharing can be a security risk because it changes your firewall settings to allow some communication. If you don't need to share files or printers, it's safest to not share or connect to devices.

@GD1 I should have said, I've alreadyturned on network discovery and printer sharing. I think this is a router issue not a Windows issue.

@GD1 OK I take it back, it was a Windows issue. I missed that I was accessing the WiFi as a public network, once I changed it to private it worked fine.
