Hi,

I think I may know the answer to this but can't seem to get hold of anyone at Sky to ask the question except through here.

I've had an email from Sky saying full fibre is available but when I go to the checker it says I am on the fastest service already, which is the regular service.

I suspect this is because I have two phone lines in to the house, one has been upgraded to full fibre and the Sky one is still standard copper service. My guess Openreach are saying they can't run two fibres to the same address, which means Sky will need to either take over the existing fibre or I drop the Sky service when copper gets dropped.

Is this correct?

Thanks, Sean.

@Sean+Mulcahy you would need to call Sky to get a firm answer as the online checker has issues with complex issues like yours. Potentially a single fibre feed can carry multiple services unlike a copper line and Openreachbcan supply ONT units with multiple ethernet outlets puts but these are not something that domestic ISPs usually offer.
